Shimamura and Adachi are the two main characters of the series. And both of them are very close friends. Adachi and Shimamura almost spend each and every moment together and are almost irreplaceable from each other’s life. The series first described from Adachi’s perspective where she started feeling different for Shimamura. She remembers everything starting from where they met on the second-floor gym and not worrying about their lectures. How they talk each and every day till night and spent hours talking and cooking together Adachi dives deep into her own thoughts, she realizes that Shimamura is more than a friend to her. Adachi is not clear about her feelings. She admires Shimamura as her best friend but apart from it she really wants to kiss Shimamura.  And the more she denies having any romantic feelings for her, the more she finds herself caught in the same loop of obsession.

Initially, it shows an inseparable bond between Adachi and Shimamura which later turns into something different. The young girls share something different. They somehow find out what is happening between them and the friendship takes a different way.
