The official website of Kimetsu TV: Mugen Train Opening Special has released a new key visual which will be the 3rd one and a new promotional video. Both of them are released on Sunday in order to celebrate the success of Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train. The promotional video and the third key visual highlights the battle between Akaza and Kyojuro Rengoku.
The promotional video has revealed about the character Akaza. Akaza is voiced by Akira Ishida. On Sunday the role of Akira Ishida has confirmed and also three other members have confirmed. They are as follows:
- Akira Ishida is voicing over for the character of Akaza.
- Rikiya Koyama is voicing for Shinjurō Rengoku. He is Kyōjurō’s father.
- Junya Enoki is voicing for Senjūrō Rengoku. He is Kyōjurō’s little brother.
- Megumi Toyoguchi is voicing for Ruka Rengoku. She is Kyōjurō’s mother.
The film opened in Japan on October 16. And it started streaming in Japan on the same day in 38 IMAX theaters. It is the first Japanese movie to release this year in IMAX theatres. Theatergoers received a “Rengoku Volume 0” manga volume, which was limited to 4.5 million copies. The creator Koyoharu Gotouge has drawn the Original manga. It shows the first mission of Rengoku.
In October from 16th to 18th the fil has the highest opening weekend. The film sold 3,424,930 tickets and earned 4,623,117,450 yen (about US$43.85 million) in Japan in its first three days.
And as for the return of the sequel film, the main staff members of the previous television anime returned. ANiplex and TOHO will be going to handle Japan’s film distribution.
Aniplex from America and Funimation will be going to screen the film in North America’s theatre’s 2021.
The manga has inspired an anime and it premiered in April 2019. And it ended in September 2019 with its 26th and the final episode.
