Release Date

Episode 2 of Dropout Idol Fruit tart is all set to make a release on 19th October 2020, i.e. Monday. The anime releases a new episode every Monday. Initially, the makers are going to release the anime in July 2020. But due to pandemic and stuff going on it got delayed to October 2020. And recently on 12th October, the anime premiered.

The main lead Ino Sakura reached Tokyo and dreams of becoming an IDol. She is introduced to her fellow inhabitants of Rat Production’s dorm, “Nezumi House”: a struggling former child actor named Roko, a struggling musician named Hayu, and struggling model Nina.

In Ino’s welcome reception, the manager of Rat productions announced the demolition of Nezumi House. Everyone who is present there got shocked and later on Hoho offered them a last-ditch to save Nezumi.

The anime can be easily seen or various streaming platforms like Animelab and Funimation. It provides episodes as soon as they got released in Japan. for English subtitles and dubs, you might have to wait for a week or 2.

The plot of the anime

The story follows a high school student, Ino Sakura. She follows her dreams and travels to Tokyo to become an idol. She moves to a dormitory-style house, Nezumi House. There she befriends Roko Sekino, a child actress and a model.
