Funimation is a leading provider of Anime content, and now it’s planning to expand its streaming services. Not just adding some new anime but also expanding the services to other countries.
Funimation is an independent joint venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment and Japan’s Aniplex. It already operates in 6 countries with nine offices. And those six countries are Ireland, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
And now, Funimation is going to expand its services to Brazil and Mexico. This new news came in Funimationcon 2020. Funimationcon is a two-day virtual fan festival for anime, and it’s free. The CEO of the company said in the virtual fan festival that it is natural that we expand our services, and it’s the next step to serve to fans and extend our brand.
Funimation and Viz media
Well, we all know Funimation is the best site to see all types of Anime, and the services of the brand are excellent. They have announced that they are beginning a partnership with Viz Media. So soon, we can see the viz media content on Funimation.
Both companies are the centre of the growing popularity of anime and manga for more than two decades. The partnership further deepens the catalog of Funimation and by this, it is able to deliver much iconic anime.
