Gundam SEED, 00 Films Will Be Getting A Special Edition Screenings in Japan

Gundam SEED is a Japanese anime series. It is a sequel of Gundam SEED by Sunrise and gundam franchise. And almost all the staff will be there even Mitsuo Fukuda, the Director. Set two years after the original Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, the plot follows the new character Shinn Asuka, a soldier from ZAFT, composed of humans born genetically enhanced labeled as Coordinators. ZAFT is going to enter in a war which is against human race. The special screening will going to focus on Shinn and apart form Shinn, the reutrning characters who will be involved in the War. Gundam SEED consists of about 50 episodes. It started airing on 9th October 2004 in Japan. And it ended on 1st October 2005. It aired on Japan news network television stations- Mainichi Broadcasting System and Tokyo Broadcasting system.

The special edition is released  in Japan and is kind of a pre christmas gift to fans. Films from the 00 series and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED will be getting theatrical revival screenings featuring the latest and greatest projection technology.

So under the franchise of Gundam two films will be released. They are Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Special Edition I: Celestial Being and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Special Edition III – The Rumbling Sky

Both films will run from November 27 to December 3 in a special format called “ULTRA” unique to Japanese theater chain Aeon Cinemas. And it will be featuring cutting edge speakers and vivid visuals.

Celestial Being will begin streaming in December from 11th to 17th. It will feature another fancy format. And the format is BESTIA.

Also, the films Gundam NT, 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer, and Char’s Counterattack are also set for 4DX screenings. Between this and the moving Gundam statue set to open to the public in December, it’s certainly a good time to be a Gundam fan here in Japan.
