Ketsumeishi Performs Crayon Shin-chan Anime’s New Opening Song ‘Superstar’ That Debuts On October 3

Crayon Shin-chan Anime: On Wednesday, it was revealed that Ketsumeishi will perform the opening theme song titled ‘Superstar’. The revelation of the new song was done on the official website for the Crayon Shin-chan television anime. The ‘Superstar’ song will debut in the anime on October 3.


The group was also seen previously, performing for the theme song for the franchise’s 2016 film titled Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki.


The Crayon Shin-chan anime premiered in April 1992, after which it had moved to Friday evening in October 2004. Last year in the month of October, Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan anime series moved to Saturdays. This happened after fifteen years of airing on Fridays.

Both of the anime is a part of the new Saturday programming block which is titled “Anime Time”, airing every Saturday at 4:30 PM. Crayon Shin-chan television anime will have new collaborations as well. This can be assumed by the fact that it had various crossovers in the past, with Aibou, Terminator, Kamen Rider, Pirates of the Caribbean, and other popular franchises.

What is the anime series all about?

The anime series, of the comedy genre, follows the story of the adventures of a five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara, along with his parents, dog, baby sister, neighbors, and friends. The story is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture of Japan.

The anime is based on the Japanese manga series that is written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. It has also been adapted into video games, apart from the anime series.
