In 2016, mobile game development company VESPA released the side-scrolling RPG title KING’s RAID. Since its launch, the title has been a massive success in the wireless markets and has been in use for almost five years.
Thanks to the game’s tremendous success, an anime has turned green and is being edited by OLM and Sunrise Beyond. Titled KING’s RAID: Ishi wo Tsugu Monotachi / KING’s RAID: Successor to the Will, the anime will be a completely original story starring director Makoto Hoshino and writer Megumi Shimizu. Little is known about the series, but there have been some new updates to the release date recently!
A new video for the series has been released in a recent announcement, containing a wealth of new material and a preview of the fripSide band’s new opening song, “Legendary Future.” The song will be released on November 4, while KOTOKO’s ending song “Stick Out” will be released on November 17. The show’s release date in early October was also confirmed in the video!
When it comes out so soon, will you play the game, or do you research the series? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the usual place, and don’t forget to check out the new trailer!
