Kyoto animation’s Tsurune Archery Anime will Be Getting A Film Adaptation

Tsurune Archery: Tsurune which is a light novel series anime’s official Twitter account revealed on Thursday, that is twenty two October that the franchise is getting an anime film project. The anime made its debut in Japan two years ago that is in 2018 in the month of October on the NHK-General channel.

The anime has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks and the series also streamed on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE sites in English dub. Anime was released on home video in the month of January by Sentai Filmworks and it included an original video anime, with an unaired fourteenth episode.

PLOT

The plot of the anime starts with the introduction of Minato Narumiya who has begun his freshman year at a local high school called Kazemai. The advisor to the Japanese club, Mr. Tommy really wants to recruit Minato and also his childhood friends Seiya Takehaya and Ryohei Yamanouchi to the club. Minato is reluctant to attend the club’s orientation, but he attends it when he is convinced by Ryohei.

He also meets two people there, Kaito Onogi and Nanao Kisaragi. To his surprise, the advisor introduces Minato as a rare Japanese archery talent and even asks him to show his talent to everyone. The four people are brought together at the Japanese archery club. Minato is not able to aim correctly for the mark as he is afflicted from a serious condition.

The anime which has been directed by Takuya Yamamura has been adapted from the light novel of the same name. And now the anime is getting adapted into a film. This sports genre anime focusing on archery and friendships has become very famous among its fans and viewers. It has been given positive reviews by the critics as well.  The scripts were written by Michiko Yokote.
