Burning Kabaddi anime by Hajime Musashino announced a new cast member who will be joining the series on twenty October, Tuesday on its official website. The TV anime is adapted from the sports manga of the same name. In Japanese it is originally known as Shakunetsu Kabaddi. The role of the vice captain of the Nokin High school kabaddi team, who is Kei Iura will be played by Makoto Furukawa.
The characters of this sports genre anime have been designed by Mari Takada.
The vice captain is not only good at sports, but he is also intelligent and has an excellent analytic ability. His true nature is very cunning even though at the face of it he looks very gentle and calm. With six years of experience with kabaddi, Kei starts feeling at a threatful position when Yoigoshi joins the kabaddi club. The player takes appropriate measures to ensure that his position in the team is not compromised.
This anime will start to premiere in the next year in the month of April.
The plot of the manga revolves around a first year high school student Tatsuya Yoigoshi who is not very fond of sports, but was a former ace soccer player. But he gains interest in kabaddi as he is invited to play the sport and join the team.
