Manga Artists Celebrate Ojamajo Doremi 20th Anniversary Film with Special Illustrations

Ojamajo Doremi is a Japanese anime series. It is created by Toei Animation. It aired in 1999 in Japan and ended in 2003.  On its 20th anniversary, a film will be going to release.

Ojamajo Doremi 20th Anniversary Film

The official website of Ojama Doremi revealed a 20th-anniversary film which is titled as Looking for Magical Doremi. It will be released on 13th November 2020.

Apart from these two special collaborations drawn by Peach Pit- Shuga Chara and Pink Hanamori- Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch illustrator on the occasion of its upcoming release.

Along with the comicalization of Ojamajo Doremi, Shugo Chara and Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch will going to be serialized in Kodansha’s Takayoshi Shoujo manga magazine. And since the 2000s the popularity of Ojamajo Doremi is quite high. There is a wide variety of fans following the Ojamajo Doremi.

Pink Hanamori’s illustration- Pichi Pichi Pitch Doremi features Lucia Nanami and the 3 main leads of the film. In the context of Friendships that connect with the things, you love as you grow up. Magic stays with you forever and the film makes me feel this way only.

Whereas Peach Pit’s illustration- Shugo Chara and Doremi features Amu Hinamori. The illustration suggests that they are looking forward to seeing the new story spun by my favorite Doremi Chan. Where Ojama Doremi girls will represent in the present-day of Reiwa.

The film will be of 91 minutes, co-directed by Yu Kamatani and Junichi Sato. It will be released in November 2020.

Invitation to the Tokyo Film Festival

33rd Tokyo International Film Festival has also invited the film. It will be a special screening feature and will prior to its Japan release. It is set to be screened at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo at 15:15 on November 3, 2020 (JST) which is Japan time zone. The film’s two co-directors and three main voice cast members will also join its stage greeting.
