It has adapted in musical theatre adaptations, 2 theatre adaptations, and anime and live-action movies. And all by the original franchise.

Season 2 has no confirmed release date yet but the expected date is for late 2020 or early 2021. But we have to wait till any official announcement has made.

Plot 

It is the night of the crimson moon and our protagonist, high school student- Mei Ayazuki comes across a traveling magician named Charlie. He teleports her to the Meiji period. There she meets historical figures and lives with them too. And as soon as the full moon approaches, Mei decides to stay in the Meiji period only.
