Oishinbo Anime will be Streamed for Free With English Subtitles on YouTube

Oishinbo Anime premiered in Japan in October 1988 to be streamed for free with English subtitles on Youtube.


Anime based on Oishinbo manga launched a youtube channel on Friday. Also, the first episode of the anime is currently streaming on the channel with English subtitles. The new episodes of the anime will be made available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is the schedule for the month of October. For November, the new episodes are scheduled to be streamed on Wednesday and Friday. And this is how all 121 episodes of the anime will be streamed.

The series is produced by Shinei Animation. Yoshio Takeuchi is the director and Akira Furuya is the art director. The scriptwriters include Haruya Yamazaki, Ryuzo Nakanishi and Yasuo Tanami. The music of the series is composed by Kazuo Otani. Masaaki Kannan accounts to be the character designer. The director Yoshio Takeuchi is also known for his other works line Harlock Saga, Examurai Sengoku and Scarecrowman. Also, the music composer Kazuo Otani is famous for Little Women and Tokimeki Tonight.

Anime was premiered in 1988 in Japan:

The anime was released in Japan in 1988 and was aired until 1992. It was aired on Nippon TV. So the story of the anime revolves around two culinary journalists Shiro Yamaoka and Yuko Kurita. Both of them report for the Culture Department of Toxai Shimbun.

In 1983, the manga was launched in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine by Tetsu Kariya and Akira Hanasaki. Also, some of the manga was published on and Viz Manga App by Viz Media in 2011.
