Tokyo Ghoul Season 5: Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy series, created by Sui Ishida. It was serialized in Seinen manga magazine with a title Tokyo Ghoul between October 2014 and July 2018. The anime television series is directed by Shuhei Morita.
The story of Tokyo Ghoul revolves, around Ken Kaneki, a student who somehow survives an encounter with Rize Kamashiro, his date who unveils herself as a ghoul. He is admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Later, he discovers that he undergoes a surgery that transforms him into a half-ghoul. And now like ghouls, he must consume human flesh to survive. Moreover, his daily struggles include adjusting to ghoul society and hiding his identity from human friends, especially from Hideyoshi Nagachika, his best friend.
The first season of Tokyo Ghoul released on July 4th, 2014, followed by the 2nd and 3rd seasons. The fourth season premiered in October 2018. Now the dark fantasy anime series, fans want to know when they can watch Tokyo Ghoul Season 5.

Release of Tokyo Ghoul Season 5
The fourth season ‘Tokyo Ghoul’ premiered on October 9th, 2018, and on December 25, 2018, the finale episode aired. Season four saw the end of Ken’s story, hence fans might not get to see the fifth season of Tokyo Ghoul. The fourth season also concluded the tense events of the earlier three seasons. Most probably, the fifth season might not happen.
The plot has likely answered all the questions in the four seasons, so fans might not be seeing more of Tokyo Ghoul.
Packed Schedule Of Creators
Reportedly, both the creators of the anime series, Sui Ishida and Pierrot are busy with their present projects. Sui Ishida is currently working with Jack Jeanne; Pierrot is busy with Akudama Drive and Mr. Osomatsu 3. Anyways, there’s still a possibility that Ishida will write Tokyo Ghoul Season 5 script, once he finishes with his ongoing projects. However, it isn’t officially confirmed yet.
