The official website of Viz Media recently took a large step. It removed all the Hulu embedded free streams or episodes of anime. This has created havoc within the fans and the streamers. So now they have to pay for all the anime to watch as no free anime episodes or movies will be there. Viz Media now directly takes the streamers to streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation to watch anime.
Viz Media is one of the leading platforms in Japan and going on the top list of those. It is earning billions day by day.
What offers are given by Viz earlier?
Previously Viz Media offers various free streams via Hulu. And that too for licensed anime. And such anime includes Sailor Moon, Ranma Half, Inuyasha, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Death Note, Bleach, One punch man, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Kevin Hamric, the Vice President of publishing sales at VizMedia mentioned in an interview in September. He said that Viz Media is doing great and actually extraordinary well even in the pandemic crisis. He didn’t mention sales figures though he said they were beyond expectations. And this actually means that everything is under control in VizMedia.
Apart from this Kevin Hamric said that Viz Media’s staff already discussed the revenue budget, Publication schedules, and goals. And everything discussed it during the first phase of the pandemic. and it is actually quite impressive. In the end, they didn’t end up changing anything or implementing anything.
Also in the meantime the normal shops or the stores were closed, therefore Viz Media has experienced a vast increase in online sales on streaming platforms like, Right Stuf, BN.com, BAM.com, and Amazon. Hamric also mentioned that the company’s sales of manga box-sets increased too during this time.
