Tomo Takeuchi is the creator of the manga Welcome to the Ballroom. It is revealed that the new chapters of the manga will be delivered from November onward.
A new chapter of Tomo Takeuchi’s Welcome to the Ballroom manga takes a break of one month:
On Wednesday, the creator Tomo Takeuchi announced on twitter that Welcome to the Ballroom Manga due to establishment of the new system will not appear in the November issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine.
Reason for the hiatus as stated by creator Tomo Takeuchi:
The reason for the hiatus of Welcome to the Ballroom as revealed by the creator is that a new system has been established and the assistants are replaced. As a result, the process has slowed down. Also, the creator revealed that new chapters of the manga will be delivered from November onward.
Tomo Takeuchi’s Welcome to the Ballroom:
The series began in Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011. The 10th compiled book volume was then published in January by Kodansha. In January 2018, the ninth volume was published by Kodansha Comics in North America. Further, the tenth volume will be published by the same on 3 November. The series was not only ranked on Comic Natalie’s and the Kono Manga ga Sugoi guidebook’s list of best manga in 2013 but was also nominated for Manga Taisho awards.
Hiatus in 2017 due to bad health of Takeuchi:
Due to the creator Takeuchi’s health, the series went on hiatus in December 2017 and returned in July 2019. And after that, there was an indefinite hiatus. Because of the poor health of Takeuchi, there was no new manga chapter in The February issue of the magazine. It was finally resumed in July then.
