After the makers of Amitabh Bachchan’s film Gulabo Sitabo announced the movie will have a digital release and skip the theatrical release, INOX theatres released an official statement expressing their extreme disappointment with the producer’s decision and criticized. Now, Fanaa director Kunal Kohli asks INOX to share food and beverage revenue with the producers.

Start sharing that revenue with producers as well, before accusing them of trying to survive in a world pandemic never witnessed before by mankind.” then the filmmaker asked that INOX must release the percentage of their revenue based on the ticket sales versus that of food and beverage.
Kunal Kohli then went on to explain his point and questioned and said, “no one goes to a theatre to eat, Right?” The Fanaa director then asked INOX to start sharing the revenue they receive from food and beverages with producers, before accusing them of trying to survive in a world pandemic never witnessed before by mankind. Expressing his thoughts on the matter, he gave a befitting reply voicing out his opinion.
As the Producers Guild shared an official statement reacting to INOX’s statement, Kunal Kohli re-tweeted the tweet and wrote, “Word.” Speaking about the Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana film Gulabo Sitabo, Mr. Bachhan expressed his excitement towards the digital release and called it another challenge
