Microsoft quarter Four results at $11.2 billion, beats expectations

It then posted revenue of around USD 38 billion in the April to June period, up around 13% from last year.

The analysts had been looking for a revenue of around USD 36.5 billion, according to FactSet as well. The company told that its commercial cloud business surpassed around USD 50 billion in annual revenue for the first time as well. But its LinkedIn service was badly hit by a weak job market and so also then less money being spent on advertising.
