It got 8.7/10 on IMDb and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans have been waiting for its second season to come. Jon Favreau directed the season 2. He is the writer and producer of the season 1, but he didn’t direct season 1 because he was doing Lion King at that time.
Along with Jon Favreau, Carl Weathers, Robert Rodriguez, and Peyton Reed are the directors. It is going to stream on Disney+.
When will the season 2 release?
Disney began to shut down the production due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its many shows got delayed. But one good thing happened with The Mandalorian is that its production work wrapped right before this shutdown. Its production started even before Season 1 was released.
The Mandalorian is still on schedule and it is coming in October. Executive producer Jon Favreau said, “we were lucky enough to have finished photography before the lockdown”.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Temuera Morrison will be a guest-starring role as Boba Fett along with Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Rosario Dawson as Ashoka Tano and Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth are joining the series.
