Alita: Battle Angel Returning

On October seven, James Cameron on his official twitter account announced that the live action film Alita: Battle angel will be returning to the theatres in United States on thirty October. Cineworld and Regal which are renowned cinema cinemas revealed earlier this month, that is October that they are closing due to the ongoing pandemic crisis of COVID virus. This closing down is temporary and the AMC theatres and Cinemark chains will remain open.


The Alita: battle angel film was opened by 20th Century fox in the United Kingdom in the last year, that is in 2019 in the month of February on sixth. The film was also opened in several other countries in Asia before it made its debut in the United States of America on fourteen February.

In Japan the film opened on twenty two February and soon bagged the second position at the box office. The acquisition of 21st Century Fox and the 20th Century fox film studio was concluded by Disney in the month of March in the same year that is in 2019. Worldwide the film was able to earn more than four hundred million US dollars.

The film in its main role stars the thirty five year old Canada born, American actress Rosa Salazar in motion capture as the title character, Alita. She is also known for her role in the divergent series. The film has been directed by the fifty two year old American filmmaker Robert Rodriguez who is also known for the film once upon a time in Mexico and spy kids. The film has been produced by James Cameron and his Lightstorm entertainment partner Jon Landau.

Cameron has also written the script with Laeta Kalogridis who is also known for the thriller film Shutter island starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
