Amazon’s ‘The Lord of the Rings’ series resumes production in New Zealand


Recently, it’s been reported by Deadline that the production for The Lord of the Rings has resumed in New Zealand. The series is streamed on Amazon. Also, it is reported that Netflix ‘ live-action Cowboy Bebop will resume filming on 30 September that is Monday. 


The Lord of the Rings was renewed for the second season last year itself. Furthermore, during the period of hiatus, the scripts for the second season were written.

It is the series produced by Amazon Studios along with HarperCollins, Tolkien Estate and Trust and New Line Cinema. The series is expected to release sometime in 2021.

The first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings series will be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona. Also, along with J.A. Bayona, Belen Atienza will also be the executive producer. J.A.
