A Plague Tale: Innocence is one of the best horror games that was missed by everyone in the year 2019. However, the game has hit a milestone number of copies which we sold on 1st July, 2020.


The game got shuffled with all of the major releases that happened last year. However, it was successful in making its way towards The Game Awards for Best Narrative.


A Plague Tale: Innocence is a horror game. The game-play revolve around Alicia, who is a young woman and her brother who is trying to survive the Hundred Years’ war because her lands are invaded. The story is filled with amazing medieval history, emotional, scary and traumatic which gives the players a deep connection. The game was launched in May 2019 which drew a lot of praise from the critics. However, the sales numbers couldn’t match the critical hype that was created.

David Dedeine, Chief Creative Office and the Co-Founder of Asobo Studio announced that the complete team at Asobo Studios is extremely proud of the road that A Plague Tale: Innocence has taken in just one year, with the Focus Home Interactive by their side.

This month, the game hit 1 million copies that were sold all over the world.

A Plague Tale: Innocence and the developer Asobo Studio are on the top of the world currently. There is a reason being the game, why it was able to win the Outstanding Story-Rich Game from Steam in the year 2019. It also won the several Pegasus Awards in 2020 and is being nominated for a huge number of other rewards.

Now the game is coming to the Xbox game pass and there is a reason why Xbox Game Pass official Twitter labeled the horror games as a masterpiece.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is playable on PC, PS4 and the Xbox One.
