Bard Of Blood Season 2: Bard Of Blood is a spy thriller series based on a novel of the same name by Bilal Siddiqi. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, this seven-episode series takes on a thrilling journey from the power corridors of RAW to the war-torn terrain of Balochistan.


What is Bard of Blood Season 1 all about?

In Delhi, an ex-RAW boss Lieutenant Sadiq Shaikh gets killed by a double agent. His killer is a man who knows a lot more and is a part of a plan to create what might look like The Third World War.


Here in Mumbai, Kabir Anand (Emraan Hashmi), who is a literature professor gets a call from the PMO. He was thrust back into the world which he is trying hard to forget. Kabir was a brilliant agent who served under Sadiq shaikh. However, he was forced to leave RAW because of a disastrous mission in Balochistan in 2006.

Kabir must now revisit those memories to avenge his mentor. Also, he had to face the worst and deadliest enemies – Mullah Omar and the ISI, while racing against time to save his country.

Kabir along with three other spies are sent on an unsanctioned mission across the border. They had to rescue four spies who had been caught by Taliban leaders and bring them home. But by the end, they realize that the mission is a much bigger conspiracy, that was starting to unfold.


Bard Of Blood Season 2: What happened in the end?

By the end, Kabir successfully executed his mission of saving the Indian spies. Along with that, he exposed Tanveer Shehzad and killed Mullah Omar. It seemed a happy and patriotic ending where it was a win-win for India.

However, the plot takes an unexpected turn as Kabir received a call on Tanveer Shehzad’s phone, who is dead. The person claims to be Chettri, a former Indian Army officer. He reveals to be the killer of Sadiq Shaikh but now his life was in danger. Following his lead, Kabir reaches the location but found no one, but an old rusty room where Colonel had been plotting something.

Soon they discovered that Colonel had been dismissed from the Indian Army, who could be an easy target for the enemy. When they confront him, he claims he was working under the ISA, but has no clue on what’s happening now. But he gets shot by a sniper after all the revelations.

Kabir manages to catch the shooter, who turns out to be Vikramjeet, his old friend. But Vikramjeet’s real identity was being identified by Kabir. So due to this, he makes sure to remove Kabir from the Intelligence Agency.
