Netflix has just announced the renewal of the German drama series for a 2nd Season. It was a quick renewal since the show was premiered recently on Netflix on August 20. Depending on the constraints of filming created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the series could be out in August 2021. As per Netflix Originals, all the episodes will drop in one day for the viewers to binge-watch. Filming of Season 2 is going to begin in the coming months in Freiburg and Munich. This means the show could be returning sooner than later. For now, we can only predict Season 2 of Biohackers to be out in early 2021.
All the main cast in Season 1 are expected to be reprising their roles for the upcoming season of Biohackers. Luna Wedler is confirmed to return as Mia Akerlund. So is Jessica Schwarz who plays Professor Tanja Lorenz. Other supported cast members who could return are Thomas Prenn as Niklas, Zeynep Bozbay as Petra Eller, Adrian Julius Tillmann as Jasper, and Caro Cult as Lotta.
