Fast Times: Fans rejoice! Your favourite Hollywood dream couple, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, are reuniting- well, sort of. The ex-duo has agreed to appear on the virtual table reading of the 80s classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High, a teen comedy which celebrates its 38th anniversary this month.
The upcoming event called Dane Cook Presents Feelin’ A-Live: Fast Times at Ridgemont High, now delayed indefinitely, is the biggest movie event of 2020 and it is taking place online, as various world-famous actors participate and play the roles of the characters from the above-mentioned film from 1982. It is hosted by Dane Cook. In an interview with PEOPLE, he said: “I can tell you that you will see them on screen together.” He did not reveal what roles both of them will be playing. The virtual live table read will be unrehearsed, which means the fans will get to see all the funny mistakes happening live and not in a Behind-the-scenes documentary!
The ex-couple was last seen together onscreen on NBC’s Friends and, more recently, they were spotted hugging each other at Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In addition to Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, the star-studded cast of this event includes fan favourites Sean Penn, John Legend, Morgan Freeman, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts and Jimmy Kimmel along with many others! We will also get to see Henry Golding and Shia LaBeouf. For those who are curious about the roles will have to tune into the live event and find out which character is being played by their favourite actor!
When and where will it take place?
The event was supposed to take place on 21 August 2020 at 8 p.m. ET on CORE’s official Facebook page and TikTok but has now been delayed indefinitely due to insurmountable technical difficulties. The event will benefit the emergency relief nonprofit CORE, a humanitarian organization, currently fighting against the coronavirus and the ongoing pandemic by providing testing and relief services in the United States of America. The Livestream will have a donate button for all the viewers who want to help.
