Last episode of the second season centered around Bill Clinton’s historic speech in 1995. We saw that James was planning to stay in Derry only and not to leave for England with his mother. At the beginning of the last episode, James’s mother Kathy McGuire made a surprise visit to Derry. Kathy is not a good woman and wants to take him to London with her but Michelle doesn’t want to let this happen. James later told Erin, Clare, Michelle, and Orla that he would be leaving for England. This led to an argument between James and his cousin Michelle. It was a very heartwarming confrontation and she asked him to stay. But James made his final decision of leaving Derry.
