Derry Girls Season 3 – Derry girls is a British black comedy sitcom directed by Michael Lennox, written and created by Lisa McGee. The series was premiered in January and February 2018 on Channel 4 however, it is also available on Netflix. This is a story of five teenagers set in Derry, Northern Ireland wants to win accolades. The series has successfully finished two seasons and are broadcasted too on the online platform as well as on the original platform.

The first season of Derry Girls was premiered in 2018 and the second one in March 2019 thus, finishing in April 2019. On the very same day of completion of season 2, Channel 4 announced the renewal of the next season. Although season 3 was planned to be launch in 2020 but the spreading of virus put the filming and production on hold. In a podcast, “Thanks A Million” by Angela Scanlon, Clare Devlin an actress in the series expressed her sadness for such a big break she says, “We were meant to start filming around now.” However, it is expected that soon the shooting will start and season 3 will be out.

Plot: Derry Girls Season 3:

The story follows the life of a teenage girl who is sixteen-year-old and her relationship with her beloved and friends during the crisis of the 1990s. The life of all the five friends have been studied and their ups and downs are noted. Further, in the forthcoming season we can expect to see more about their lifestyle.
