EastEnders: Davood Ghadami bows out from his role as Kush Kazemi

EastEnders Davood Ghadami (Kush Kazemi) a set for The dramatic exit from the soap as Davood’s storyline came to an end. The creators are thinking of a big plot for the show which leads to the exit of the character Kush Kazemi

In the show, Davood played the role of a market trader, who has recently had some romance with Kat Slater, which is played by Jessie Wallace. After spending six years in the show, Davood will be bowing out Albert square. But according to sources, he will not be leaving the show till 2021 as the creators are discussing some major plot for Kush Kazemi.

EastEnders spokesperson told Radio times, ‘We can confirm Davood Ghadami will be leaving EastEnders when his agreement comes to an end. Davood has been a great part of EastEnder’s journey, and we wish him all the best for the future.’

Some Insider told that the creators of the show have a huge plot planned, but although Davood was said in January, his departure is not far away. Kush will be on screen until well into 2021. It’s a shame, and everyone will miss him but sometimes the cost of having a big storyline means losing prominent characters.

About Davood Ghadami and his character

He joined the show six years ago and was introduced as Martin Fowler’s old friend and new trader on the bridge street market. Since the arrival of Kush, he was a protagonist of many storylines of the show, and he once had one night stand with martin’s wife.

Before coming into a relationship with Stacey’s cousin, Kat Slater, Kush then seemed to be getting close with Louise, who is Martin’s daughter.

After joining the show Davood and co-star Rakhee Thakrar received praise for powerful and great performances in a stillbirth storyline. In 2017 Davood took part in strictly come dancing on Series 15 and made it to semi-finals
