An early demo of his song

John has recently revealed an early demo for his song. The title of the song is Here’s to the next time. The song was recorded in 1967. It was when John was known as Reg Dwight. The song will be out as forthcoming release Elton John- Jewel box and will be released on 13th November.


The solo version of the song Here’s to the next time released on 16th October 2020. But it was recorded in 1967. And later on, it was completed in 1968 as John’s first single.

‘Deep Cuts’, ‘Rarities’, ‘B-sides’, ‘And This Is Me’ are the four parts that will be released on 50th anniversary box set. And they will be going to be released in 8X CD, 3X LP, 2X LP, and 4X LP formats.

And the previously version of Here’s to the next time is still available in 1986’s B side track. The song features in CD 07 of Jewel Box of Elton John. It has supported 1986’s single of John Slow Rivers.

Apart from the demo song Here’s to the next time a 1986’s Billy and kids have also released. It can be seen on various streaming platforms.  So Billy and the kids are a song of B side Cd 07 and also a part of Jewel Box of Elton John. It was from 1968 singles.

Elton John on the release of the latter said that to delve back through a period of a career in my life in such detail of Jewel Box.

Till now from Jewel Box unheard track- Regimental Sgt. Zippo and Sing me sad songs are also out now.
