Darren Star is coming back with a new project to fill up the hole of Sex and the City in the viewer’s life.
Emily in Paris is an upcoming comedy drama web television series, starring Lily Collins as Emily, who moves to Paris for a job opportunity. But being an American woman she faces cultural clashes in the foreign city.
Darren Star, who has created several TV hit shows like SATC, Younger, Beverly Hills 90210 ( the OG and the reboot), Melrose Place, and more, is the creator, writer, and executive producer of Emily in Paris. It was originally developed for Paramount Network, who even made an order for the first season. However, on July 13, 2020, it was reported that the series will be moving in the hands of Netflix.

Release Date: When will it air on Netflix?

This Show was supposed to release on Paramount Network but now all the 10 episodes will air on Netflix. However, no official release date has been revealed yet. It is set to be released on Netflix in the U.S. autumn, which means we can expect it to come to Australia somewhere between September and November.

The Cast: Who will be starring?

French actors Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat, and Bruno Gouery will appear as the main cast.

Other cast members are Kate Walsh will play Emily’s mentor, who continues to live in Chicago. Ashley Park, William Abadie, and Arnaud Viard.

Expected Plot: What Emily in Paris is about?

This show follows a Midwestern woman, Emily played by Lily Collins, she moves to Paris for a job opportunity. She works at a French marketing company and assigned to modify their social media strategy. But she finds it hard to blend in with the French people. She is an American and doesn’t know how to speak French. She has her own beliefs and ways of doing work and she used to think that the American way is always best. However, later she realizes that this mindset doesn’t always hold true and makes a lot of tactless and embarrassing acts in front of the new people.
