Emma Stone ties the knot with SNL writer Dave McCary

The La La Land actress is speculated to have married her long-time boyfriend, SNL director Dave McCarthy.


The ‘newlywed’ couple had earlier announced their engagement in December 2019 on Dave McCary’s Instagram.

They were reported to get married in March 2020 but had to push back their wedding day, or so we thought. According to People’s official website, a ‘source’ has confirmed their marriage.

“She is professional in every way, very talented, and focused on her work, and Dave respects that. He totally supports her and is unselfish in his desire for her success. Those are great qualities in a man for someone like Emma. She is impressed by his talent and respects him immensely.” The source told People’s magazine.

Recently, the Oscar-winning actress was spotted wearing matching gold bands with Dave on a walk together. The two are currently living together in a house in Malibu.

How did Emma Stone and Dave McCary meet?

Emma and Dave have been together for three years now. They met on the sets of Saturday Night live when Emma Stone was the host of SNL.

Dave a segment director on the show, even directed a sketch that featured her.

Although neither Emma nor Dave has confirmed the rumors; her fans are convinced that she has definitely tied the knot.

Fans had even spotted her, wearing a wedding band instead of her pearl engagement ring in a recent interview. Emma had joined Reese Witherspoon on her Youtube Channel―Hello Sunshine, to talk about anxiety during the lockdown. Here, fans couldn’t help to overlook that her ring has switched.
