Everything You Need To Know About : Black Lightning Season 4

Black Lightning Season 4: It’s arrived on The CW in 2018 and brought a socially relevant and familial tone to the superhero genre. The sky’s the limit for where the Pierce family can land for their next set of adventures. As the fans await Black Lightning Season 3, here is everything you need to know –

In May 2020, The CW hinted to the viewers that it is planning to renew the series for the fourth season. They also mentioned that production and filming are set to happen through the coming months. Black Lightning Season 4 is now part of other 2021 releases by the network. It will probably run from January to May 2021 if the episode count is the same as previous seasons.

The previous season finale saw Jefferson, Jennifer, and Anissa Pierce disclosing the ASA and their efforts. This led to the demobilizing of the ASA, also the Congress allocating funding for a special boarding school. With Lynn Stewart and Jefferson working for good it would make sense to see them work for something new in Season 4.

However, everything is not on the brighter side yet. Tobias Whale is chasing back his throne of Freeland’s criminal underworld. So we could expect Season 4 to involve him fighting Lala and the resurrected Lady Eve to take back what is lost. Additionally, Season 3 villain Gravedigger has stripped off his powers but continues to stay powerful than any.

We expect to see main cast members of the series return for the fourth installment –

  • Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning
  • China Anne McClain as Jennifer Pierce/Lightning
  • Nafessa Williams as Anissa Pierce/Thunder
  • Christine Adams as Lynn Stewart
  • Marvin “Krondon” Jones III as Tobias Whale
  • Jordan Calloway as Khalil Payne/Painkiller
  • James Remar as Peter Gambi

Damon Gupton confirmed that his character Bill Henderson is not returning for the next season.
