The English actor, Hugh Laurie who is also a director, an author and a comedian is starring in the thriller, Roadkill. The show will release in this year only on BBC network. It will consist of four parts. The sixty one year old actor is mainly known for his role in House.

ROADKILL PLOT

The actor will play the role of a conservative minister, Peter Laurence. He has worked harked to get to that position all by himself. His life gets hard when his enemies try to make revelations about Peter’s private life.

But he does not get troubled by this and is not even guilty about the revelations which were made. His ultimate goal to get that prize for which he has worked hard.

The four episodes of this political thriller have been directed by the TV director, Michael Keillor. The director is also known for directing line of duty. Written by the seventy year old screenwriter David Hare, the series will bring out the actor of House in a total different light.

There has not been any official release of trailer of the series yet. And we just know that it will release in this year, but we do not know about the exact date or month.

OTHER CAST

Apart from the comic actor Hugh Laurie who will play the role of charismatic politician in series, the other cast is just as amazing. They are very talented as well. Helen McCrory will be seen in the role of a Prime Minister. She is mainly known for her role in peaky blinders. Her character will be known as Dawn Ellison in the series.

Roadkill also stars Sarah Greene and Pip Torrens. They will be recurring actors and seen in exciting characters. The political thriller will keep you entertained for sure.
