Dan Hicks also have known as Danny Hicks, a popular American actor passed away at 68 on June 30, 2020, Tuesday after battling with stage four cancer.
Dan Hicks was born on July 19, 1951, in Pontiac, Michigan, U.S. He was famous for his roles in various Sam Raimi’s movies and got his identity and popularity after playing a major role in the horror film ‘Evil Dead2’. Apart from it, he also is known for his roles in Spiderman 2, Darkman and Intruder, and several supporting roles in Sam Raimi’s films.
Hick’s death was announced by his company Full Empire Promotions on Youtube with a tribute video with a description “On June 30, 2020, we lost a friend, client, and talented actor in Danny Hicks.” The post had a regard to his on-screen death as Jake in Evil Dead 2 in 1987.
Afterward, the management team of Facebook through a post confirmed the news of Dan’s death, the post quotes, “Danny passed away at his home in CA. We love you, Danny, rest easy my friend. No more pain.” it had been not even four weeks since he announced the disease.
A few weeks back only on June 5, 2020, Danny revealed the cancer diagnosis as he writes a post on Facebook, “To all of the people that I never got to meet, and the 6,018 die-hard fans that enjoyed my work. I have some bad news. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I have approximately 1 to three years to measure .” Further, he added, “But I gotta tell ya, I sure as hell packed an entire bunch of living into my 68 years. I got no change coming back that`s for sure. And not too many regrets. Ok, gotta go. I’m gonna find out just what in the hell is going on down in that fruit cellar,” on the laughing note he concluded his post.
After the revelation of his diagnosis, his condition continues to deteriorate day-by-day.
