If you watch the trailer, you can definitely relate it with 1987 ‘Fatal Attraction’. It is not only about the title of the film but the main setup is also quite the same.
In Fatal Attraction, Dan Gallagher (Douglas) is a married man who regrets after getting involved in a casual affair with Alex (Close). When Alex becomes obsessed with him, he tries to save himself and his family from her stubborn behaviour.
Fatal Affair also follows a “happy couple” of Marcus (Stephen Bishop) and Ellie(Nia Long). It seems like Ellie has a perfect life — a nice job, a house, and a partner who loves her. But the question is that does she loves him back? Everything was just perfect and then one day David(Omar Epps) reappears, Ellie’s ex-flame. And during Ellie’s and David’s reconnection, the beginnings of an affair occurred. An affair that could turn fatal! David begins to stalk and threaten her, whose life and loved ones are put in jeopardy.
