PewDiePie: During the broadcast of PewDiePie, on July 11th jokingly showed his viewers how to create an “apology” video. He trolled his audience by faking an apology. He also pretended to fake cry on the screen with the fake teardrops and fake crying sounds.
His jokes contained the creators such as Tati Westbrook breaking down on the camera. They apologized for their past mistakes.
Well, it is not clear whether he was referring to Tati Westbrook in his jokes or not. However, he said many things that were similar to the video of Tati Westbrook. He said, “I care about you guys so much, and I miss you!”. After this, he zoomed into his face showing his tears. Then he said, “I’m so sorry!”
PewDiePie- Here is the complete video:
With the increasing music, he started pouring more water on his face. Then he zoomed his camera to show his watery eyes. He also made fake crying sounds. He further humorously said that he did not mean to kill those people in Minecraft. It was not his fault. He then at the end of the live stream busted into laughter. Then he said that it looked really convincing. Also that it is really easy to make a fake apology.
He then mocked the online apologies. Well, he didn’t take the name of Westbrook but said few lines that were similar to the makeup personality’s viral video that came out in the month of June. In the previous steam, he stated that it was not an apology. They were just transferring all the blame.
PewDiePie announced in March that he has signed a deal with YouTube that he will be streaming on the YouTube platform exclusively. He crosses 100K viewers in each live stream, so this seemed to be a payoff for him. It also seems to be worth it to the creator.
