Final Fantasy 7 Remake will stay only for the PS4 for 12 months.

The remake of Final Fantasy VII that is upcoming will only be launched for the PlayStation 4 exclusively for the first year since its release. After the 3rd of March 2021 it is expected to be landing on the other consoles such as Xbox One and the PC. This news was first heard by Wario64 of Twitter. He posted the cover image of the game with the note that mentioned the exclusivity of the game in the bottom corner.

Final Fantasy VII will make its debut first on the PlayStation 4 on 3rd March, 2020 as read from the pre-E3 press release.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is being divided into multiple episodes. The first episode will be focusing on Midgar exclusively. Midgar is commonly known as the opening of the game. Square Enix has promised to come up with an experience that will span two Blu-ray discs that will worthiness the content. The first instalment will be made available on 3rd March, 2020. The development process of the next game in the series has already started.

Final Fantasy has expanded for many years once s series that was closed associated with the PlayStation consoles over many years to simultaneously release across many platforms. Recently, several numbers of classic FF games were launched for the Xbox Game Pass.

The Xbox Germany confirmed that the Remake will be coming to the Xbox One clearing our doubt on the release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake for Xbox and PC.

Square Enix also said that they have not planned anything for the release of the remake for the other platforms.

The franchise has spent a lot of time, revenues and manpower in the development of the remake of Final Fantasy VII.

Square Enix has put a lot of efforts for the multi-platform releases, especially for Steam where it came up with really big titles, therefore we definitely expect to see the remake knocking the doors of the other consoles.

Final Fantasy VII will be available on PlayStation 4 on 3rd March, 2020 and for the other platforms we will have to wait few months or maybe even a year for the launch. The date for the release of the remake is not confirmed for the other platforms.
