The 3 leaked images presented Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, although, without the cape and cowl.

The first official teaser trailer was revealed during the DC FanDome panel. The trailer gave the fans a sneak peek into what they should expect from the caped crusader.

THE MAKERS’ REACTIONS

Just after the images were leaked Warner Bros. released them officially on Twitter stating, “If you’re excited about these, wait till you see what we have for you in #TheBatman panel at #DCFanDome starting at 5:30 PST.”

The film’s director, Matt Reeves, too responded to this event. Reeves, via a tweet, thanked fans for their excited reactions along with requesting them to be patient until the full panel.

His tweet read,  “Wow, means SO much to me that you guys are so excited about #TheBatman! Thank you for your “early” reactions — we are so close, please just wait for the panel… 5:30 PM PT #DCFanDome.”

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the filming was stopped earlier this year. The Batman is all set to reach the cinemas on October 1, 2021.
