Future Islands release new track ‘Moonlight’ from their 6th album ‘As Long As You Are’

The American band from North Carolina Future Islands recently shared their new music track ‘Moonlight’ which will come from the upcoming album As long as you are, the sixth album of the band. The video of the track has been directed by the American film director, Will Mayer. The sixth album of the band has been released after two years since the previous album released in 2017.

Samuel Herring is lead vocalist of the band and all or most updates about the new release were given by him only to the sources.

You can check the official video of the song on the band’s YouTube channel. Samuel T. Herring said that the song is about accepting everyone and firstly ourselves by being informed about the holes in ourselves. The song describes a state of love in which one is a little depressed.

The track stars the forty-year-old American actor, writer, and model Matthew Gray Gubler and the thirty-two year old American actress Callie Hernandez who is best known for the musical drama film La La Land.

The track is a little mellow and follows on from the album’s songs which were released earlier ‘Thrill’ and ‘For Sure’.

The band has been active since the last fourteen years as it started in 2006. All the four members of the band are very talented, which will come as no shock if you have heard their albums.

The band is all ready for a live stream event too in which they will sing this song together on ninth October of this year 2020. The event will be directed by Michael Garber. If you want the tickets for this amazing event, they are available now. As we are all in quarantine this may be very entertaining for all of us.
