HBO Max released its trailer for their new show, a televised dog-grooming competition- Haute Dog.
If you love dogs and love to bedazzle them then this show is for you.

From the trailer, it looks like the show would be filled with corny jokes and numerous dog puns.
The series would be judged by celebrity dog groomer, Jess Rona with A Black Lady Sketch Creator Robin Thede and would be hosted by the Quibi show host Matt Rogers.

The show would release on 24 September 2020 exclusively on HBO Max.
Haute Dog Format
The show would include 12 episodes of half an hour each. In every episode, three new groomers would be brought; competing head-to-head over two rounds.
The candidate with the least score among the three groomers would be eliminated in each episode. In the end the last person standing would win the title―Best in show and would win a cash prize of $10,000.
The judge of the show, Jess Rona is also the inspiration for the series. She is the dog groomer of celebrities like Katy Perry. Rona has built an online following with her signature slow-motion dog hair blowing videos and has even written a book, titled “Groomed”.
The show has been picked up by Jax Media. Its executive producers are Jax Media’s Tony Hernadez, Brooke Posch, Seamus Murphy Mithchell, with Making It’s Nicolle Yaron, and Jess Rona. Abi Marthy would serve as showrunner.
Jax Media had stated that they had completed the production of the series in a month this summer In Sini Valley and that they had followed full union guidelines and coronavirus measures and regularly tested their cast and crew members.
