Humankind, Amplitude’s Civilization-like 4X game, has been delayed to 2021 from its original 2020 billing.

Amplitude’s Humankind

Amplitude’s Humankind has been delayed to 2021 from the original slated billing in the year of 2020. However, you will be able to play the game sooner all thanks to the open dev program.

The game will be coming this summer, however we have no specific date for the release of the game. This sounds like a mix of closed beta and early access. Three scenarios will be made available one at a time by Amplitude. You can sign up to play for free and then give the required feedback through some surveys that will be available afterwards.

Here is the OpenDev announcement trailer:Amplitude’s Humankind

The three scenarios:

The first scenario: Discovery, small steps and growth; this will take place in the early phases of the game which sums to about 45 minutes of the playtime.

The second scenario: Armies, battles, deployment and tactics; this will give 15 to 30 minutes to each part.

The third scenario: Resist assault, worldwide; Takes a defensive test with an under-siege England.

Amplitude’s Humankind  – If you want to take part in the OpenDev program, then you can sign up through the Amplitude’s game2gether platform here. You will get access only to each scenario for four days at a time. You will have to be 18 or older to play the game and the opendev is available worldwide. This game is localized in English currently.
