Is Wentworth canceled? Here’s when it’s ending tap to know

Wentworth: It is an Australian drama which focuses on life at prison and prisoners.
It was created by Lara Radulovich, David Hannam and Reg Watson. The show released its first season on 1st May 2013.
The show revolves around Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack). Bea has been sent to prison at Wentworth Correctional Centre as she was charged to be the murderer of her husband.
She goes through a lot at the prison as she’s away from her daughter. She’s fed up with the life people offer her at the prison which is obviously not so overwhelming.

If we look at some recent seasons of Wentworth then few stars remained constant. Leah Purcell, Pamela Rabe, Kate Atkinson, Katrina Milosevic, Robbie Magasiva, Kate Jenkinson, Bernard Curry, Rarriwuy Hick, Susie Porter, Kate Box, Jane Hall, Reb Keane, and Vivienne Awosoga are a few stars who have been there to entertain us.



When will we watch Season 9 of Wentworth?
As of now, the show is releasing its 8th season on Netflix with a total of 10 episodes. The season will air on 30th September 2020.
However, the 9th season won’t be releasing this year. It’s scheduled to release in 2021 and a specific date is not finalized. The COVID-19 pandemic might delay it further. Let’s hope the virus situation improvises so that we can binge-watch the 9th season too.

Wentworth has been cancelled?
Well, for the moment we still have 9th season. Although, all the seasons were a treat to watch we are looking forward to watching season 9.
The show has not yet been cancelled but yes, after season 9 the show won’t be moving forward.
The 9th season will be the end of it and we have to say goodbye to the show after all the 9 seasons. There is no doubt that all the seasons were great but 9th season, being the finale has to be the best.
