Jamie Laing is back on Strictly Come Dancing this year after his unfortunate leg injury last year

Jamie Laing is gearing up to return back to the dancing show called Strictly Come Dancing after his sudden unfortunate leg injury cost him his spot on the show. Read below to know more about it.


Jaime Laing is one of the famous personalities that are in the news since they first appeared on the screen. The actor is also seen in other movies and series including Celebrity Juice, The Apprentice: You’re Fired!, This Morning, and the famous Made In Chelsea.


Jamie Laing got injured last year during the filming of a launch show. This led to the artist losing his spot in the dance reality show and getting replaced by Kelvin Fletcher, who later won the title of the show as the show wrapped up.

Now, with Jamie Laing returning to Strictly after getting a second chance to be a part of the show due to his unexpected pull out from the show last year, he’s been officially declared as the ninth contestant of this year’s edition of the show on Thursday. He is glad to back on the show as in an interview he said that he wishes to stick to the show longer than the last time. All Jamie wants is that her mother sees him dance on the show which would make feel proud. Leaving the show midway made her mother feel disappointed, he told the reporter.

The makers of the show are unhurriedly revealing the contestants that would be a part of this year Strictly. Announced eight participants include Ranvir Singh, JJ Chalmers, Bill Bailey, Maisie Smith, Caroline Quentin, Jason Bell, Max George, and Clara Amfo.

The show is set to air late in 2020 and will run for a short duration of time than its usual running duration due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic all over the globe right now. It is all set to air on BBC One and not too far from its release.
