Initially, it was premiered in 1975 and was titled as NBC’s Saturday night. The name was as it is for 2 years but later got changed to Saturday Night Live. And still, it is one of the best Tv series in America.

Jim Carrey to Play Joe Biden on SNL Season 46

Yes, Saturday Night Live has found a pretty big star for its upcoming 46th season. He will go together with Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump. In one of the latest interviews, Michaels revealed that Jim Carrey will be playing the role of Joe Biden, who is a democratic presidential individual.

He even mentioned that we will be seeing previous stars like Alec Baldwin will be returning and Maya Rudolph will also come back.

So before Jim Carrey, the role of Joe Biden was played by 3 different people in the 45th season. But no one was up to the marks.

In addition to this new cast members have been revealed, including Andrew Dismukes, Lauren Holt, and Punkie Johnson. Dismukes was earlier a writer on the show. And he will still be working as a writer.

Release date

The release date has been given for 5 consecutive show i.e. 3rd October, 10th October, 17th October, 24th October, and 31st October 2020.

This time SNL will be having a limited number of audiences in the show, considering the fact for social distancing and maintaining safety for all.

When all of this havoc started off the pandemic, SNL stopped doing live shows. It telecasted older recorded episodes. But now it will be going to return with a new season and new cast too. And not all of the cast will be changed only a few, including the character of Joe Biden.
