John Cena and Nicole Byer to host TBS upcoming Wipeout revival

Nicole Byer

The wrestler became actor John Cena, and I nail it! TVLine learned that host Nicole Byer would lead the steeplechase competition. The duo will provide comedic commentary on each episode of the series, and model and actress Camille Kostek will share the candidates’ progress during the course.

“I couldn’t be more excited for what this radically absurd show that has its slice of iconic facades is waiting for,” said John Cena, who is also on board as executive producer. “The power of Wipeout lies in its ability to bring people from all walks of life together for momentary physical pleasure. I can’t wait to see responses from both new and existing fans. It will be a hosting experience like never before! “

TBS has found the hosts for their next version of Wipeout, and you could say that the casting department was successful.

Nicole Byer added: “Now, more than ever, we need a lot of fun and laughter, and nothing is more fun than people falling on giant red balls. Wipeout is genuinely insane, and I am delighted to be a part of the return of this beloved show. “”

Wipeout, which was previously was airing on ABC from 2008 to 2014, challenges your competition to complete an absurd obstacle course. Most attempts cause crashes that are worth checking. The revival will include “new twists and turns,” but fear not: the series’ most iconic obstacle is “coming back with a vengeance.”

The premiere date for Wipeout’s comeback has yet to be announced.
