Kanye West has now invested almost $6 million on his campaign to become President of the United States.
The 43-year-old rapper is reportedly in the middle of a White House bid to succeed Donald Trump, and Kanye’s financial report showed the eye-watering amounts he spends on his presidential ambitions.
So far,Kanye West has forked $5.86 million into his campaign, with much of the money going to consultants and commissions, according to a report submitted to the Federal Election Commission.
The controversial rap star has borrowed more than $6.7 million from his campaign, with the only other source of revenue coming from small donations from fans.
Tyson insists that Kanye not ready to be president
Tyson Beckford, meanwhile, has recently insisted that Kanye West is “not ready” to become the US President.
The model believes the ambition of Kanye is misplaced and therefore has urged the rap star to stick to what it knows.
He said: “I’m still in trouble here because I speak the facts. I don’t know what’s going on, but he’s getting himself into a teapot that isn’t ready for him.
“I never want to talk evil. I saw him and his lady, [Kim Kardashian’s wife], doing some good stuff and I wish they would just stay on that. That vibe running a country-this is not easy.
Tyson believes the US needs to pick the most qualified person for the job, not the person with the biggest profile.
Kanye West explained: “I think we need to start choosing people because for a living, it’s something they do.
“It’s like if you get on a plane and there’s no pilot, and then one of the clients says, ‘Well, I’m going to get up and drive.’
“Will you deboard the plane, or will you sit on the plane and take this flight? I’m not getting on a plane with a pilot … who’s not a pilot. That’s just nuts.”
