So now we face a short delay from Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The new release date of the game is September 8. Kingdoms of Amalur will be coming for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The remaster of the game which was released back in 2012 will be receiving a brand new DLC expansion, Fatesworn in the year 2021.
The original slated date for the release of the game was August 18. Well, September 8 doesn’t seem to be much distant. The game will also have an improved graphic fidelity.
However, THQ Nordic the publisher hasn’t given more details on the new Fatesworn expansion. They have promised that the details will be coming to us, but at a later date. However the tagline- “What does the future hold for the Fateless One?” suggests us that the new content will be set up after the events of the main game.
Here is the Announcement Trailer – Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning
THQ also said that a Fate Edition of the game will be coming. This edition will include Fatesworn as a part of a bundle with the main game, and a Collector’s edition, which will consist of figuring, artwork, keychain, collector’s box and the soundtrack.
10 new screenshots were also released besides the trailer.
The reviews of the game were really great. Do this is going to be a huge turnaround in the fortunes of Amalur. As, the developer 38 Studios failed in business after the release and the founder Curt was sued by the state of Rhode Island (unsuccessfully). At that particular time, the company was wishing to make Amalur MMU among other projects. THQ Nordic then purchased the rights to the game back in the year 2018.
