Know the reason behind the cancellation of season 5 of ‘Everwood’

Everwood is an American drama television series that successfully completed four runs with eighty-nine episodes. The fifth season of the series was canceled, not because it was not gaining viewers but because a new show is about to release. The show was canceled on seventeen May fourteen years ago in 2006.


This is the first show that Greg Berlanti created for the WB.


Everwood is a fictional place which is in Colorado. The doctor moves there after losing his wife.

Plot Of Everwood

The first episode of the series was released eighteen years ago in 2002 in the month of September. In the early seasons of the show, the storyline mainly focused on the Brown family who has recently moved to Everwood and is trying to adjust there. The family keeps facing difficulties but together they overcome all problems.

By the end of the series, the final episode of the show released fourteen years ago in 2006. The family is very happy.

With the merging of WB and UPN networks, the release of the fifth run had to be canceled. There were a lot of diverse storylines that the season could have followed but the fans are a little disappointed about the cancellation. The show was also shot in Denver.

The finale of the series had more than four million viewers. The episodes of the drama show are forty minutes long and keep you hooked all throughout the series.


The role of Andrew or always called as Andy in the show is played by Treat Williams, Gregory Smith plays the role of Ephram Brown. There are a lot of other main characters in seasons one and two who are all played by infamous American actors.

Emily VanCamp, Tom Amandes also appears in this favorite show of everyone.
