Kyoto Animation absorbs Animation Do an Osaka-based affiliate

Kyoto Animation has absorbed the Osaka based affiliate studio Animation Do. This also includes all rights along with the property that is associated with the company. This is reported by The September 16 issue of the National Pronging Bureau’s Kanpo publication. And the same was reported on Wednesday.

Kyoto Animation absorbs Animation Do an Osaka-based affiliate

 Animation Do is a studio that is famous for Free! Iwami Swim Club franchise. In 2000 it was established as Kyoto Animation Osaka Studio and later in 2010, it became its own corporation as Animation Do. Undoubtedly, since the inception, the staff has been working virtually on every KyotoAnimation.

How much loss was reported of Kyoto Animation?

Also according to the report, there was a loss of 21.34 million yen to Kyoto Animation. This loss of US$ 202,400 was there in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020. In addition, the report added that in the same year Animation Do had a loss of US$ 62,900 that means 6.63 million yen.

A devastating fire broke at Kyoto Animation Studio on 18 July last year:

Last year, a fire broke out at one of the buildings at Kyoto AnimationStudio. And out of 70 people that were present inside the building, 36 people were killed. Also, 33 were injured on 18 July due to the devastating fire. Other than these victims, there was a man in his 40s who was also injured because of smoke inhalation. He was then apprehended by Kyoto Prefectural Police to use gasoline in order to start a fire.

He bought 40 litres of gasoline. And through a cart, those two canisters were sent to that building of Kyoto Animation Studio. It was the studio’s 1 building. further, he was arrested on 27 May. He was there in hospital for about 10 months as he was injured.

And then, the demolition work was completed on 28 April.
