John Oliver is all set to bring ‘Last Week Tonight’ to HBO for at least three more years. The Premium Cabler has made an announcement that is has renewed Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. They have taken the British Comedian’s run through seasons and for 3 more seasons.
HBO renewed its late-night contemporary program; ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’
John Oliver started hosting the program from 2014 and the show gets a consistent rating and success for the network ever since. John is a stand-up comedian from the UK and also a writer, producer, actor, and television host.
The Last Week Tonight has ranked a total of 16 Emmy awards for HBO. The premium cabler confirmed the news of the show after Oliver shoot his last episode on Republicans National Convection. He also aired the protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin over the public shooting of Jacob Blake.
John Oliver has also covered the COVID pandemic in his Season 7, which forced Last Week Tonight out of its CBS Broadcast Centre.

The ‘Last Week Tonight’ will return on HBO from September 27.
