LOVE, DEATH, AND ROBOTS SEASON 2
All you need to know about the release
This weird series from Netflix is all set to bring another goofy season for its techno-geek fans! In a June 2019 tweet, Netflix confirmed that the series will be back with a Season 2. Jennifer Yuh Nelson who directed Kung Fu Panda 3 has joined along with Miller and Fincher, as Supervision Director to oversee all the episodes. Netflix invested a lot of time and energy into this series, and all of it resulted in the positive response from the viewer and the show to be a super hit Netflix series.
Currently, Netflix has not announced the official release date of the series. The production time of the first season of ‘Love, Death & Robots’ was quite long. With that in mind, the new season isn’t expected to hit Netflix very soon. However, we do have an idea about where production is based on a February 2020 interview from one of the composers Rob Cairns. In the interview, he said: “I’ve seen a couple of the Season 2 scripts and have started discussions with directors and started playing with sound.”
“Some of the episodes were pretty much done by the time I even started at them,” Cairns tells Inverse. “They actually had the animation in, and we were waiting for the final scene assembly with all the effects and whatnot.”
This signifies that the new season’s production is full steam ahead right now. The expected release date for Love, Death & Robots is either late 2020 or early 2021.
